Foreign sector lender, Citibank has come up with a special package for a special segment of customers. The target group comprises the people whose annual salary falls in the range of Rs. 3 lac and Rs. 15 lac.

A customer needs to maintain a relationship value of Rs. 2 lac with the bank to be eligible to avail the package. There are various other features that can lure the customers towards the package.

The customer will not be charged for cash withdrawal from the ATMs in India or overseas, no charge will be levied for the issuance of drafts. Duplicate statement, funds transfer, stop payment and assistance for account opening for customers relocating overseas are the other features that the bank is offering with the package.

CINCINNATI – The days of reading your local newspaper free online may soone to an end.

The Cincinnati Enquirer’s parentpany, Gannett, has just announced a plan to start charging for online content later this year.

Thepany says it plans to build so-called “paywalls” around the websites of all 80 of its local newspapers around the US to boost revenues.

How it will Work

Gannett said it has not finalized the fees, but says it would be similar to a paywall set up last year by the New York Times. 

Thepany says it anticipates that readers would get to read each paper’s homepage for free, as well as classified ads, and would also be able to access between five and 15 articles a month without subscribing.

With the New York Times, you must be a paid online subscriber after you read 20 free articles each month.
